As part of the preparations of the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University for the launch of the 2026–2027 academic year, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, held a meeting today, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with the Activities Officers of the scientific departments and the Website Officers of the college to discuss the general framework of the activities and news plan for the new academic year. The meeting addressed the importance of developing an integrated plan for the scientific, cultural, and student activities to be organised by the departments throughout the academic year. These activities aim to enhance student participation, highlight scientific and creative talents, and ensure that events are implemented according to a clear programme that promotes diversity, continuity, and the academic and community objectives of the college. The meeting also discussed mechanisms for organising digital media work and developing a plan for publishing news and coverage of academic, scientific, and student activities and achievements. Emphasis was placed on promptly documenting activities and continuously updating the departments’ websites to reflect the scientific and academic activities of the college and strengthen its digital presence. The Dean of the College of Science emphasised the importance of coordination between the Activities Officers and Website Officers across the departments and of working as one team to ensure integration between organising activities and documenting them through the media. He also stressed the importance of adhering to the media identity of the college and university and supporting academic and institutional development. The meeting comes as part of the College of Science’s commitment to developing an early and organised plan for the new academic year, contributing to the advancement of scientific and student activities, strengthening media communication, and highlighting the achievements of the college and its departments in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of supporting excellence and innovation. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
