The College of Science Council at Al-Mustaqbal University held its first session for the 2026–2027 academic year, chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, with the attendance of the Council members. The session addressed a number of academic and administrative matters included on the agenda.
The meeting discussed several issues related to preparations for the launch of the new academic year and followed up on the progress of the educational process. It also addressed academic plans and scientific and student activities in line with the college and university’s vision of developing academic and administrative performance and enhancing the quality of education.
The session also examined mechanisms for organising work and following up on the requirements of the scientific departments, while emphasising the importance of coordination among the various units and divisions of the college to ensure a suitable university environment for students and academic staff and to achieve an organised and effective start to the new academic year.
During the session, the Dean of the College of Science stressed the importance of continuing teamwork and adhering to academic and administrative plans and directives in a manner that contributes to achieving the college’s objectives, improving performance, and advancing its scientific and educational outcomes.
The session reflects the College of Science’s commitment to early preparation for the 2026–2027 academic year and to following up on the requirements of the educational process according to an institutional vision that contributes to achieving academic excellence and continuous performance development.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
