As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s active academic and scientific presence in scholarly forums, Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Manea, Head of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, chaired a PhD dissertation defense committee at the College of Mathematics and Computer Sciences, University of Kufa, for researcher Zainab Ali Jawad Kadhim. The defense was held in the presence of the members of the specialised scientific committee. The dissertation addressed a scientific topic within the fields of mathematics and computer sciences and featured an in-depth academic discussion of the research content, methodology, and findings, along with scientific comments and recommendations aimed at further developing the academic and research aspects of the dissertation. Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Manea’s role as chair of the defense committee reflects his academic expertise and scientific standing, as well as his contributions to academic evaluation, postgraduate research, and supporting researchers and graduate students. It also highlights the importance of strengthening scientific cooperation and academic communication between Al-Mustaqbal University and other Iraqi universities. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening the presence of its faculty members in academic and scientific activities, supporting research excellence, and promoting the exchange of expertise among Iraqi higher education institutions. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
