In accordance with the directives of the Dean of the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Radwan Salman, the College of Education participated in the awareness activity organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to mark World Clean Air Day, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of air quality and highlighting the risks of air pollution and its impact on human health and the environment. The College’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting environmental and awareness initiatives and promoting a culture of sustainability among students, faculty members, and staff, thereby contributing to the promotion of behaviors and practices that support environmental protection and help reduce sources of pollution. The activity was attended by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, along with a number of department and division directors, staff members, and students. The event included an awareness activity held in the university gardens, addressing the importance of clean air and its direct impact on human health and quality of life, as well as the major environmental and climate challenges associated with air pollution. The participants emphasized the importance of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices, particularly increasing green spaces, promoting green transportation, and improving waste-management methods. They also highlighted the importance of implementing awareness programs aimed at enhancing environmental responsibility among university students and staff.
