Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Future University, the College of Arts and Humanities participated in the awareness event held by the university in celebration of International Clean Air Day for blue skies, on Monday, 7/9/2026, which was organized by the Sustainability Division in the university presidency in the university gardens, in the presence of Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, along with a number of department and division directors, staff members, and students.
The College of Arts and Humanities participated in the event, within the framework of the college's keenness to take part in university activities that contribute to enhancing environmental awareness and consolidating the concepts of sustainability and social responsibility among students and teaching staff.
The event included a set of awareness activities that addressed the importance of preserving air quality, introducing the risks of its pollution and its effects on human health and the environment, in addition to emphasizing the importance of adopting behaviors and practices that contribute to building a healthy and sustainable university environment.
The participation of the College of Arts and Humanities in this event comes in line with Future University's directions in promoting a culture of sustainability, supporting environmental initiatives, and encouraging its staff and students to assume their responsibilities toward the environment, thereby contributing to achieving the goals of sustainable development and building a university community more aware of environmental issues.
