As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance field-based training and bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, the Department of Animal Production Techniques at the College of Agricultural Technologies conducted a practical activity to monitor the health status of pregnant sheep. The activity aimed to strengthen students’ skills and develop their practical experience in the field of animal production.
The activity included a number of examinations and practical procedures for pregnant sheep under the supervision of the course instructor, Assistant Lecturer Surour Hafez Mohammed. The procedures focused on monitoring the health status of the flock, introducing students to field-based examination and diagnostic methods, and training them in the practical handling of animal cases.
The activity was conducted in the presence and under the supervision of Assistant Dean Prof. Dr. Tahani Jawad Mohammed Ali, who followed up on the implementation of the practical applications and ensured the provision of an appropriate educational environment for the students.
These activities are part of the College of Agricultural Technologies’ efforts to strengthen the practical component of academic education and develop students’ field skills, contributing to the preparation of specialized professionals capable of supporting the development of the livestock sector and promoting safety and sustainable productivity.
