Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, strengthened international academic cooperation with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom during a visit to the university. The visit aimed to follow up on the international training programme for Al-Mustaqbal University students in digital systems and artificial intelligence, while exploring opportunities to further develop the partnership between the two institutions. The visit included following up on the implementation of the training programme and assessing the academic and practical benefits gained by the students. It also provided an opportunity to review the academic and training environment offered by UWE Bristol, which contributes to enhancing students’ technical and practical skills and preparing them for the evolving requirements of the global labour market. As part of reaffirming the strong academic relationship between the two universities, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi presented the Al-Mustaqbal University Shield to a representative of the academic leadership at UWE Bristol, in recognition of the university’s efforts in hosting the students and providing a high-quality training programme that integrates academic knowledge with practical application in advanced digital fields. The two sides also discussed ways to sustain and expand their cooperation through joint training, academic, and research programmes, as well as through strengthening the exchange of expertise and knowledge and making effective use of the scientific and technological capabilities available at both institutions. This visit reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships and providing its students with high-quality educational and training opportunities. It also supports their engagement with global academic experiences and the development of their competencies in technology and artificial intelligence, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
