President of Al-Mustaqbal University Explores the Latest Research in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Bristol Robotics Laboratory

Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a scientific visit to the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) on 5 September 2026, to explore the latest research projects and advanced technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems, and smart manufacturing. The visit included an overview of applications in assistive robotics, healthcare, and smart living, as well as projects involving autonomous vehicles and autonomous systems. It also covered advanced manufacturing technologies and industrial robotic arms, in addition to research on quadruped robots and interactive humanoid robots, and the integration of artificial intelligence into sensing, movement, and autonomous interaction. The President of the University emphasized the importance of engaging with leading global research centers, exchanging expertise, transferring knowledge, and localizing advanced technologies in ways that contribute to developing the research environment and expanding opportunities for postgraduate students and researchers at Al-Mustaqbal University. The visit comes as part of the University's efforts to expand its international academic and research partnerships and strengthen its presence in the global scientific community, supporting its commitment to research, innovation, and academic excellence.
