In a step that reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision for academic leadership and global openness, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, University President, conducted a distinguished field visit to the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom on September 2, 2026. The aim was to follow up on the progress of the university’s specialized international training program for students in digital systems and artificial intelligence, as well as to enhance prospects for academic and research cooperation between the two institutions. During the visit, Al-Mustaqbal University’s shield was presented to the representative of the academic leadership at UWE Bristol, in recognition of the efforts made in designing and implementing an advanced training program that keeps pace with the latest global trends and contributes to refining the skills of Al-Mustaqbal University’s students and preparing them for the requirements of the international labor market. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and expanding the scope of joint initiatives, whether in training or scientific research, as this would enhance students’ competitiveness and positively impact the quality of higher education. This visit is part of the university’s strategy to support academic quality, develop students’ skills, and expand its network of international partnerships, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals—especially quality education, decent work, and global partnerships.
