Engineering Students Enhance International Expertise During the Third Day of Training in Britain

Enhanced engineering students at Al-Mustaqbal University their international expertise during the third day of the international training programme, held on 2 September 2026 at the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE Bristol), United Kingdom. The programme provided students with practical exposure through three training sessions focusing on systems thinking, the integration of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, precision engineering applications in the medical sector, and the development of gene therapies, in addition to exploring innovation funding opportunities and transforming engineering projects into industrial products. The participation aimed to keep pace with global developments and prepare students to develop competitive engineering solutions and projects, supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). This initiative comes as part of the continued efforts of Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, to equip its students with the latest global knowledge and prepare a generation capable of keeping pace with developments in engineering and technological fields.
