The Dean of the Engineering Technical College joined students during their practical and field training in September 2026 at the advanced engineering classrooms and laboratories of the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom, in a step aimed at strengthening the connection between academic learning and practical application and developing students’ hands-on engineering skills.
The training experience included the Dean’s presence and step-by-step follow-up with the students inside the engineering laboratories, contributing to the application of theoretical knowledge in an advanced international educational environment and enhancing their professional readiness for the requirements of the engineering job market.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), by providing educational and practical training opportunities that build students’ capabilities and prepare them for a more competitive professional future.
Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading university among private universities in Iraq, continues to support international training programs and academic openness, expanding students’ global horizons and strengthening their scientific and practical capabilities.
