**Al-Mustaqbal University Continues Its Leadership in International Training: Iraqi Ambassador in London Praises the University’s Experience in Sending Students to the UK**

University of Al-Mustaqbal Delegation Visits the Iraqi Embassy in London to Strengthen Academic Cooperation and Support Student Development As part of its efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and develop the capabilities of young people, and within the framework of the Academic Outreach Program, a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University, headed by Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majidi, President of the University, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in London, where they met with His Excellency Professor Dr. Saleh Hussein Ali Al-Tamimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Kingdom. The academic delegation included Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, in the presence of Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, Cultural Counselor in London, and Dr. Wisam Al-Furaiji, Head of the Expatriates Affairs File at the Embassy, along with a number of participating student trainees. During the meeting, the delegation presented Al-Mustaqbal University’s pioneering experience in sending students from various scientific disciplines to the United Kingdom to undertake advanced summer training programs at a number of British universities and academic institutions, particularly at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). The training focuses on areas including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the development of modern scientific and technological skills. This unique initiative contributes significantly to enhancing students’ academic and practical experience and preparing them for the future. The meeting also addressed prospects for expanding partnerships between Iraqi universities and their British counterparts, exchanging academic and research expertise, and creating broader opportunities for students and academic staff to benefit from the scientific and educational resources available in the United Kingdom. For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Al-Tamimi praised this distinguished academic initiative, affirming the Embassy’s and the Cultural Mission’s continued support for all efforts aimed at strengthening the capabilities of Iraqi students and promoting the international engagement of Iraq’s educational institutions with leading global academic and scientific centers, in a manner that contributes to advancing higher education and scientific research.
