An official delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University, headed by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, and in the presence of a number of participating students, visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, where they were received by the Cultural Counselor, Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi.
The meeting included a review and follow-up of the international training program for Al-Mustaqbal University students held at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi praised this distinguished initiative, emphasizing that it is the first of its kind among Iraqi universities to provide undergraduate students with training in the United Kingdom on this scale, following the dispatch of fourteen students from the College of Engineering Technologies.
The program included students’ active participation in advanced scientific training at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Applications at the University of the West of England, which ranks first in the United Kingdom in this specialized field. This directly contributes to equipping students with modern technical skills and preparing qualified professionals in accordance with the highest international standards.
The visit reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding international academic cooperation and empowering its students to engage with the latest research and technological environments worldwide. This contributes to enhancing the efficiency of educational outcomes and preparing a promising generation capable of leading the future of innovation and digital transformation.
