Today, Thursday, August 27, 2026, students from the Department of Media at the College of Arts and Humanities at Almustaqbal University completed the requirements of the annual summer training program at the university radio station. This program is part of the college's plan to enhance the practical skills of its students and apply academic quality standards aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and the demands of the media work field. During the training period, students underwent a comprehensive experience that included various stages of radio and practical work, comprising: Preparation and Editing: Drafting news and preparing programs, reports, and audio materials according to journalistic principles. Techniques and Studio: Direct practical training on radio recording and editing devices and audio directing techniques. Radio Performance: Presenting and direct interaction with the microphone within a realistic work environment. The Director of the Radio, Professor Zaid Al-Shawka, affirmed that the radio station was keen to provide a stimulating training environment according to the latest programmatic and technical standards, noting that the program gave students the opportunity to deal with the intricate details of radio work, which contributes to honing their abilities and equipping them with high confidence to face the evolving challenges of the job market. This step comes within the framework of the College of Arts and Humanities' keenness to qualify its academic graduates and supply the media scene with young cadres possessing skill and field experience. Almustaqbal University is the first among private universities.
