The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, chaired an expanded administrative meeting to follow up on the University’s readiness and compliance with the requirements of the Ministerial Committee for Education and Program Establishment. The meeting was attended by the Scientific Assistant to the President, Assistant Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, along with the directors of the relevant administrative departments and units, including the Administrative Affairs Department, Projects and Construction Department, Legal Department, Human Resources Department, and the Secretariat of the University Council. During the meeting, a comprehensive review was conducted of all key requirements and necessary procedures to ensure the highest standards of academic and service quality and performance. These included: Material and Technical Requirements: Reviewing the readiness of infrastructure, classrooms, modern laboratories, and logistical and engineering facilities to accommodate new expansions. Human Resources and Staffing: Following up on academic and administrative staff and completing recruitment and academic qualification plans in accordance with approved standards. Legal and Student Affairs: Ensuring compliance with regulations and instructions governing the establishment of new academic programs, while providing all necessary facilities and support services for students. During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of unifying the efforts of all administrative and technical departments to complete assigned tasks with the highest level of accuracy and within the specified timelines, in a manner that strengthens Al-Mustaqbal University’s position and supports its continued academic expansion and ongoing development. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
