As part of the practical summer training program, students from the Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering Department at the College of Technical Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University continue their field training at the Ministry of Oil / Oil Products Distribution Company - Middle Euphrates Distribution Directorate (Al-Diwaniyah Branch), aiming to bridge academic knowledge with practical application in the vital petroleum sector. The training included active student participation in understanding petroleum products distribution mechanisms, fuel quality testing, occupational safety protocols, and technical monitoring, which enhanced their practical insight into oil sector operations and energy management. This training supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of efficiently managing and advancing fuel sector operations. Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirmed that direct partnerships with oil and government institutions are central to its strategy of preparing students for the labor market, reinforcing its commitment to community service and sustainable development.
