As part of the practical summer training program, students from the Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering Department at the College of Technical Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University continue their field training at the Ministry of Water Resources / General Directorate for Irrigation and Drainage Projects Operations - Babil Water Resources Directorate, aiming to bridge academic knowledge with field expertise and develop their skills in managing water and environmental sustainability projects.
The training featured active student participation in understanding irrigation and drainage management mechanisms and operating systems, enhancing their scientific and practical capabilities to address environmental challenges and develop energy and water infrastructure.
This training supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and Goal 13 (Climate Action), by qualifying engineering cadres capable of providing sustainable solutions.
