As part of the practical summer training program, students from the Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering Department at the College of Technical Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University continue their field training at the Ministry of Electricity / General Company for Middle Euphrates Electricity Distribution - Babil Electricity Distribution Branch (Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi Electricity Distribution Sector), aiming to hone their practical skills and connect academic learning with the electrical energy sector. The training included active student participation in understanding distribution and supply network operations, maintenance procedures, and technical monitoring, which enhanced their practical insight into managing power grids and improving operational efficiency in the energy sector. This training supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by preparing qualified engineering cadres capable of efficiently managing and developing power systems. Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirmed that partnerships with government and service sectors are key to its strategy of preparing future engineers for the labor market, reinforcing its commitment to community service and sustainable development. We are proud of our students… and preparing them for a more sustainable future Al-Mustaqbal University… The First University in Iraq
