The Fuel and Energy Techniques Engineering Department at the College of Technical Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a summer practical training program for its students—highlighting students Montader and Hassan—across various government, petroleum, and electricity distribution institutions, aiming to enhance field expertise and apply academic knowledge in real-world work environments. The program featured active student participation in field and technical operations, strictly adhering to comprehensive occupational safety standards. This contributed to acquiring high-level practical skills and preparing them for direct entry into the labor market, aligning with rapid developments across energy sectors. This training aims to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by building effective partnerships with national institutions and preparing engineering cadres capable of providing innovative solutions. Al-Mustaqbal University emphasized that supporting field training is part of its strategy to provide an integrated educational environment that bridges theory and practice, reinforcing its leading role in community service and building a sustainable energy future. We are proud of our students… and preparing them for a sustainable energy future Al-Mustaqbal University… The First University in Iraq
