Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, participated in the AI for Good Global Summit, held at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland, bringing together distinguished researchers, policymakers, innovators, and technology leaders from around the world.
The University’s participation reflects its strategic vision of advancing digital transformation, integrating artificial intelligence technologies into academic and administrative fields, and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The summit addressed a range of topics concerning the application of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to develop practical solutions to global challenges, particularly in healthcare, smart agriculture, sustainability, and climate change, while also exploring ways to translate scientific research and technological innovations into practical applications with tangible societal impact.
On the sidelines of the summit, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi also attended the Kaleidoscope Academic Conference, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which explored emerging technologies including quantum computing, brain–machine interfaces, and collaborative robotics, in addition to presenting new frameworks designed to accelerate the transition of innovations from research and experimentation to real-world implementation.
Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi emphasized the importance of keeping pace with global developments in artificial intelligence and strengthening international collaboration. He highlighted Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to promoting responsible AI, digital citizenship, and the development of technological skills in line with the demands of modern education and the Sustainable Development Goals.
