Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has been selected as a keynote speaker at the THE Arab Universities Summit 2026, scheduled to take place in Ben Guerir, Morocco, from 3–5 November 2026. The prestigious international summit is organized by Times Higher Education (THE) in partnership with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), under the theme: “Collaboration and Progress: Advancing Excellence Across Arab Higher Education.” The selection of Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi as a keynote speaker at this prominent regional and international event represents significant academic recognition of the remarkable growth and standing achieved by Al-Mustaqbal University in international rankings, as well as its leadership in sustainability, digital transformation, and the advancement of scientific and technological research. Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi will join a distinguished group of higher education leaders, university presidents, and international experts, including Dr. Rima Matar, Vice President of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, to discuss strategies for advancing educational quality, strengthening cross-border academic partnerships, and addressing the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to ensure the global competitiveness and leadership of Arab higher education institutions.
