The Department of Accounting at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, continues its academic journey in preparing qualified accounting professionals equipped with scientific knowledge and practical skills that meet the requirements of the labor market and the rapidly evolving economic and digital environment. Established in 2017, the department offers morning and evening study programs and has six academic cohorts. It accepts graduates from the scientific, literary, and vocational branches – Accounting specialization, providing students with an integrated academic and professional pathway in accounting. The department focuses on academic excellence and quality assurance, alongside practical training and field visits that connect theoretical knowledge with labor market requirements. It also prioritizes developing students’ skills through scientific, practical, cultural, and professional workshops and activities, contributing to the enhancement of their personal and professional capabilities. In terms of performance and accreditation, the department has made progress toward programmatic accreditation, having officially applied for local programmatic accreditation, in addition to achieving high success rates in the joint ministerial evaluation examinations. The department continues its efforts to enhance the quality of education and develop accounting skills that meet labor market needs and support students’ future professional careers.
