Pursuant to the decision of the Council of Ministers to suspend official working hours in observance of Arbaeen of Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him), and in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enabling its staff to participate in this blessed religious occasion and serve the pilgrims, as well as in consideration of the difficulties in accessing the university during the pilgrimage period, the University Council has decided to suspend official working hours as follows: Official working hours for all university staff, except those assigned to essential duties, will be suspended from Thursday, July 30, 2026, through Thursday, August 6, 2026. Official working hours for all staff will resume on Saturday, August 8, 2026. On this blessed occasion, Al-Mustaqbal University extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Islamic nation, praying to Almighty Allah to accept everyone’s righteous deeds and acts of worship, grant success to the pilgrims and those serving Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him), and bless Iraq and its people with lasting peace, security, and stability. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
