Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, a research team from the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies successfully conducted a scientific study aimed at developing an innovative spectrophotometric method for the determination of Para-Aminosalicylic Acid (PAS) using NQS reagent, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Dakhel Nasser Taha Al-Zarkani.
The project supervisor explained that the study introduces a modern analytical approach characterized by its simplicity, high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of application. The proposed method also provides a high degree of accuracy and reliability in the determination of pharmaceutical compounds, making it a promising technique for use in analytical chemistry and medical laboratories.
This achievement reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and encouraging the development of innovative analytical methods that contribute to advancing the pharmaceutical, medical, and research sectors while reinforcing the University’s role in scientific innovation and knowledge production.
