Al-Mustaqbal University has officially announced the opening of participation for the First International Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Ecosystems (MICEES 2026), organized by the College of Engineering on 20–21 October 2026 at the University's campus in Babylon Province, Iraq. The conference will bring together distinguished researchers, academics, engineers, and postgraduate students from Iraq and abroad. The conference aims to provide an international scientific platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise, presenting the latest research findings and innovative solutions in environmental sustainability, addressing contemporary environmental challenges through science and technology, strengthening academic and research collaboration, and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). MICEES 2026 features a broad range of specialized scientific themes, including sustainable technologies, climate change, ecosystem restoration, renewable energy, resource and waste management, artificial intelligence in environmental systems, and sustainable architecture, reflecting the latest global trends in environmental sciences and engineering. The Scientific and Organizing Committee invites researchers, academics, and professionals to submit their scientific contributions and actively participate in the conference. The deadline for abstract submission is 1 September 2026, while the deadline for full-paper submission is 27 September 2026.
