The Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University has officially announced the launch of the Summer Practical Training Program for students of the medical departments. The program includes students from the Departments of Medical Laboratory Technologies, Anesthesia Technologies, Radiologic Technologies, Dental Technologies, Optometry Technologies, Cosmetic and Laser Technologies, and Artificial Kidney (Dialysis) Technologies. Training is being conducted in a number of public and private hospitals in accordance with the regulations and guidelines approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Academic supervisors have commenced field visits to the designated training sites to monitor the progress of the program and assess students' commitment and active engagement within healthcare institutions. These visits have included several hospitals, such as Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH) Teaching Hospital and Babylon Private Hospital, in addition to other healthcare institutions approved under the University's summer training plan. Student placements were carefully arranged in facilities located close to their places of residence to reduce transportation burdens and provide a supportive training environment that enhances their practical learning experience.
The Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, together with the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the success of the summer training program through continuous supervision and direct coordination with the participating healthcare institutions. These efforts aim to provide an integrated training environment and to address any challenges students may encounter during the training period.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting its students, Al-Mustaqbal University has undertaken the payment of all summer training fees required by the host hospitals and healthcare institutions. This initiative reflects the University's dedication to providing outstanding educational and training opportunities while preparing highly qualified healthcare professionals equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical competencies required to meet labor market demands and contribute effectively to community service.
The College also urged all students to report to their assigned training sites on time and to strictly adhere to official working hours and training regulations. It emphasized that cases of failure to commence training or unauthorized absence will be addressed in accordance with the applicable ministerial instructions and legal regulations.
Furthermore, the College confirmed the readiness of its supervisory committees and follow-up teams to receive students' inquiries and resolve any challenges they may face throughout the training period, ensuring the efficient implementation of the program and the achievement of its educational and professional objectives.
