As part of its strategic vision to internationalize higher education and expand academic and research collaboration with leading global institutions, Al-Mustaqbal University held a high-level scientific meeting with Istanbul Aydın University in Türkiye to explore mechanisms for strengthening cooperation between counterpart colleges and expanding academic partnerships with Turkish universities and members of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS). Representing Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Engineering Technical College, participated in the meeting. The Turkish delegation included the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Aydın University, along with several heads of academic departments. The discussions focused on advancing scientific and research collaboration, promoting the exchange of expertise, and enhancing the quality of higher education and scientific research through joint academic initiatives. The meeting concluded with a strategic agreement to host the Fifth International Conference on the Future of Sustainable Energy at Istanbul Aydın University in the Republic of Türkiye. This milestone reflects Al-Mustaqbal University's growing international academic standing while expanding the global reach of the conference by attracting researchers, scholars, and industry experts from around the world to exchange knowledge and showcase innovations in sustainable energy, clean energy technologies, and environmental sustainability. Both institutions also discussed the academic framework for organizing the conference, including the establishment of joint scientific and organizing committees to oversee its technical sessions and scientific program. In addition, they explored broader opportunities for cooperation in academic exchange, field training, and collaborative research projects involving faculty members and students in engineering and medical technical disciplines. This strategic collaboration is supported and guided by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Hassan Shaker Majdi, as part of the University's vision to expand its international partnerships and strengthen its active role within the Administrative Council of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS).
