As part of the continuous follow-up of the summer training program for students of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University, Dr. Basim Mohammed Jabbar and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Saasaa conducted a field visit to the German Private Hospital in Najaf on Sunday, July 12, 2026, to review the progress of the summer training program for third-year students. During the visit, the delegation met with the trainees as well as the hospital’s practical training supervisor and Scientific Director to discuss the implementation of the training program and ensure that its objectives are being achieved in accordance with the department’s educational and professional standards. The visit focused on monitoring students’ commitment to attendance by reviewing attendance records, in addition to evaluating their practical training in the Operating Room and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring that they acquire the essential clinical skills and hands-on experience required for their future careers. It was also agreed to organize a series of specialized scientific workshops on modern anesthesia techniques, providing students with up-to-date knowledge and enhancing both their academic understanding and practical competencies. At the conclusion of the visit, students were encouraged to maintain continuous communication with the Summer Training Committee whenever they encounter any challenges during their training period, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and that the training objectives are successfully achieved.
