College of Engineering Council Holds Its Eleventh Meeting to Discuss Academic and Administrative Affairs

The College of Engineering Council held its eleventh meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, and attended by the Council members, to discuss a number of academic, administrative, and scientific matters included on the meeting agenda, as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to advance its academic and administrative performance. The meeting covered several topics related to scientific affairs, student affairs, quality assurance, and program accreditation. The Council also reviewed the implementation of directives issued by the University Presidency and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, discussed preparations for the upcoming phase, and approved the necessary decisions and recommendations in accordance with the applicable regulations and instructions. During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of sustaining a collaborative team spirit, adhering to the approved timelines, and strengthening cooperation among the College’s academic departments, divisions, and administrative units. He noted that these efforts contribute to enhancing academic and administrative performance, fulfilling quality assurance and program accreditation requirements, and providing high-quality educational services to students while serving the wider community.
