As part of its strategic vision to internationalize higher education and expand its global network of academic partnerships, Al-Mustaqbal University held a virtual meeting with the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED) to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation and discuss the University's participation in the Union's European and Mediterranean programs and projects. During the meeting, the delegation of Al-Mustaqbal University presented an overview of the University's institutional development and its significant achievements across various fields. The presentation highlighted the University's academic structure, comprising fifteen colleges, as well as its accomplishments in scientific research, international rankings, sustainability, and global collaboration. The delegation also showcased the University's pioneering experience in offering postgraduate programs in partnership with prestigious universities in Malaysia and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The UNIMED delegation, in turn, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Union's mission, strategic objectives, international initiatives, and collaborative programs. The presentation outlined the opportunities available to member universities and emphasized the importance of active participation in European and Mediterranean projects that contribute to advancing higher education, promoting scientific research, and strengthening international academic exchange.
The UNIMED delegation commended Al-Mustaqbal University for its advanced institutional performance and praised its remarkable achievements in scientific research, international rankings, global partnerships, and sustainable development. The delegation noted that these accomplishments reflect the University's growing reputation and distinguished standing at both the regional and international levels.

The Al-Mustaqbal University delegation was headed by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by a number of academic and administrative leaders. The UNIMED delegation was led by its Executive Director, Dr. Marcello Scalisi, with the participation of the Union's program directors.
