Al-Mustaqbal University Council held an emergency session on the morning of Sunday, 5 July 2026, chaired by the University President, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdy, and attended by the Council members, including the Vice Presidents and Deans, to follow up on the instructions issued by the Ministry and to ensure the continuity and smooth operation of academic and administrative work during the summer break.
The session addressed a number of urgent academic and administrative matters, and the following key items and decisions were highlighted:
1. Follow-up on the Ministry’s HEPIC System:
The concerned staff were directed to accelerate the completion and accurate updating of student data, while organizing summer leave schedules in a way that ensures the completion of this vital file in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
2. Handling Student Cases:
The Council approved the executive mechanisms related to the addition of remedial marks for critical cases in final-year stages, in accordance with the latest ministerial regulations and in consideration of students’ academic interests and future prospects.
3. Summer Training and International Cooperation with Mansoura University:
The Council reviewed the progress rates of students’ summer training and discussed the external training plan and student exchange programs with Mansoura University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the aim of enhancing practical skills and opening broader horizons for international cooperation.
4. Bologna Process and Curriculum Development:
An extensive discussion was held on the outcomes and recommendations of the recent workshop on the Bologna Process, presented by the Director of Quality, with the aim of updating curricula and developing academic systems in line with global standards of educational quality.
5. Implementation of Scientific Conference Recommendations:
The Council emphasized the importance of moving the recommendations of the international and local conferences recently organized by the university into the stage of actual implementation, and of transforming research outputs into applied projects that serve the community.
At the conclusion of the session, the University President expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to all attendees for their dedication and commitment, and directed that the Council’s resolutions be implemented with accuracy and speed in order to preserve the leadership and distinguished standing of Al-Mustaqbal University.
