Council of the College of Education Holds Its Eleventh Session to Discuss a Number of Academic and Administrative Files

The Council of the College of Education held its eleventh session on Tuesday, 7/7/2026, chaired by the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rudhan Salman, and attended by the Assistant Deans, as well as the Heads and Rapporteurs of the academic departments. At the beginning of the session, the Dean emphasized the importance of continuing academic and administrative efforts in line with the requirements of the current stage, in a way that contributes to enhancing the quality of institutional performance and providing the best services to students. The Council discussed a number of important topics, foremost among them the announcement of the final results of the first-round examinations for students of all departments and both academic stages. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of completing all procedures related to the announcement of results in accordance with the approved regulations and instructions, in a manner that ensures accuracy and transparency. The Council also addressed the issue of setting a specific time frame for receiving students’ objections to the results, with the aim of giving students the opportunity to submit their requests and have them properly reviewed by the specialized committees in the academic departments. The session further discussed the leave arrangements of the teaching and administrative staff, stressing the need to organize them in a way that ensures the smooth workflow and the continuous provision of academic and administrative services on a regular basis. In another area, the Council discussed the organization of training and development courses for the teaching and administrative staff, given their effective role in developing skills and raising the level of professional competence. In addition, the Council reviewed the mechanisms of students’ summer training and ways to organize it in a manner that achieves the desired academic and practical benefits. The Council also discussed student registration procedures in the Student Information System (SIS). In this regard, Assistant Lecturer Taif Abdulhassan Ali, Head of the Registration Division at the College of Education, was hosted during the session and provided an explanation of the registration mechanisms, the instructions related to the system, and the procedures that should be followed to ensure that the registration process is completed accurately and in an organized manner. The Council also addressed the follow-up of issuing the College’s scientific and humanities journal, emphasizing the importance of supporting research activity and reputable academic publishing, in addition to discussing the College’s research plan in line with its academic orientations and objectives. At the conclusion of the session, the Dean stressed the importance of following up on the implementation of the recommendations and decisions reached during the meeting, in a way that contributes to the development of academic and administrative work and the advancement of the level of performance in the College. #College_of_Education #AlMustaqbal_University
