The Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Universit Al-Mustaqbal, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, officially launched its 2026 Summer Robotics Programs, which commenced yesterday with remarkable participation from students and parents. The initiative builds on the outstanding success of the previous edition and reflects the University’s commitment to preparing a new generation equipped with future technologies and artificial intelligence skills.
The launch follows the remarkable achievements of the incubator’s teams during the previous season, when several teams secured advanced positions in specialized robotics competitions and championships. These accomplishments have further strengthened the program’s reputation as one of Iraq’s leading initiatives in robotics education and technological innovation.
This year’s program features four specialized training tracks designed to accommodate different age groups and educational levels, providing a progressive learning pathway from the fundamentals of robotics to advanced artificial intelligence applications.
The VEX GO track is designed for children aged 6–9 years, focusing on developing logical thinking and creativity while introducing the fundamentals of programming and robot construction through engaging, hands-on activities. The VEX IQ track targets participants aged 10–14 years, emphasizing robot programming, sensor integration, intelligent system design, and preparing students for national and international robotics competitions.
The VEX V5 track is intended for students aged 15–19 years, offering professional-level training in advanced robot design and programming while encouraging teamwork through integrated engineering projects. Meanwhile, the VEX AI track represents the program’s most advanced level and is designed for university students and experienced participants.
The program is delivered through practical, hands-on training in the laboratories of the Artificial Intelligence Incubator under the supervision of highly qualified specialists, within a modern learning environment that promotes innovation, teamwork, problem-solving, and the integration of academic knowledge with practical applications in line with the latest global technological developments.
In addition to technical training, the program aims to identify and nurture talented students, preparing them to represent Universit Al-Mustaqbal and Iraq in national and international robotics competitions. It seeks to develop future technology leaders capable of driving innovation, supporting digital transformation, and meeting the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The program is supervised by Dr. Musaddaq Maher Abdul Zahra, an internationally certified Training of Trainers (TOT) instructor, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Universit Al-Mustaqbal, and Head of the Scientific Committee of the Iraqi Engineers Union – Babylon Branch.
Through its Artificial Intelligence Incubator and its specialized educational initiatives, Universit Al-Mustaqbal continues to invest in developing young talents and providing an advanced learning environment that empowers future innovators to compete locally and internationally, while reinforcing the University’s position as a leading center for innovation and technology in Iraq.
