Al-Mustaqbal University Advances International Standards Through Participation in the National Workshop on Bologna Process Implementation

As part of its commitment to advancing higher education and enhancing academic quality, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the National Workshop on the Quality of Bologna Process Implementation, hosted by Al-Noor University in Mosul. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, presidents of public and private universities and their assistants, as well as a distinguished group of international experts and specialists in higher education development. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Mohammed Kitab, Assistant Dean of the Engineering Technical College, and Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance. They actively participated in the scientific sessions and specialized discussions focusing on mechanisms for enhancing the quality of Bologna Process implementation in line with international best practices and quality standards. The workshop was organized as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to advance the implementation of the Bologna Process across Iraqi universities. It aimed to benefit from international expertise and exchange successful experiences to improve academic programs, enhance learning outcomes, and align higher education with European standards, academic accreditation requirements, and quality assurance principles. The program featured a series of specialized scientific sessions addressing the current status of Bologna Process implementation in Iraqi higher education institutions, the challenges associated with its application, and mechanisms for external evaluation and quality assurance. The workshop also highlighted leading international experiences in academic policy development and quality enhancement, with the participation of several internationally recognized experts. Al-Mustaqbal University's participation reflects its commitment to keeping pace with the latest global developments in higher education, fostering a culture of quality and institutional excellence, and continuously developing its academic programs, educational systems, and registration procedures in accordance with international standards. These efforts support the University's strategic vision toward achieving academic accreditation and enhancing the quality of its educational and research outcomes.
