The College of Engineering Technologies participated in the closing ceremony of the "Future Innovators" program, organized by the Technology Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University, contributing to the development of 14 innovative projects and smart digital platforms as part of the "Innovation Camp and Project Incubator" program, held from June 1 to June 30, 2026. The program brought together 10 students from the Computer Engineering Technologies and Building and Construction Engineering Technologies departments of the College of Engineering Technologies, along with a postgraduate student from the USM program hosted at Al-Mustaqbal University. The initiative provided an intensive practical and training environment designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship while transforming creative ideas into scalable technological solutions. Students from the College of Engineering Technologies played a key role in developing smart solutions addressing the needs of society and the labor market through projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Industrial Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Education, Digital Healthcare, Digital Transformation, and Digital Real Estate. These projects promote innovation and support the ongoing digital transformation across various sectors. The program was supervised by Dr. Musaddaq Maher Abdul Zahra, Director of the Technology Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University, who guided participants through every stage of the innovation process—from idea generation and needs assessment to design, development, testing, and the creation of scalable prototypes. The program also emphasized creative thinking, teamwork, project management, and the effective use of modern technologies to solve real-world challenges. This participation reflects the College's commitment to strengthening students' practical skills and encouraging their engagement in entrepreneurial initiatives that prepare future engineers capable of innovation and global competitiveness, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of fostering excellence, creativity, and technological leadership.
