Al-Mustaqbal University ranked first among all Iraqi public and private universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, placing within the 201–300 global band, in a remarkable academic achievement that reflects its institutional excellence and leadership in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The University also achieved a distinguished milestone by ranking 51st globally in Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7): Affordable and Clean Energy, demonstrating its success in adopting sustainable practices, fostering innovation, and developing a university environment that supports the transition toward sustainability. This outstanding achievement is the result of the University’s strategic vision, the continuous support of its leadership, and the dedicated efforts of its academic and administrative staff, as well as its students, in enhancing institutional performance, advancing education, scientific research, and community engagement in line with international ranking standards. This accomplishment further strengthens Al-Mustaqbal University’s position as Iraq’s leading university in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings and reaffirms its commitment to implementing strategic initiatives that promote institutional excellence and contribute effectively to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals at both the national and international levels.
