Under the guidance of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and with direct field supervision from the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, the College of Medicine’s medical team continued its humanitarian mission for the second consecutive year on the eve of the tenth of Muharram. The team provided medical services and first aid assistance to participants commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, his family, and his loyal companions (peace be upon them) in the center of Al-Hillah city. The medical unit witnessed active participation from faculty members and students of the college, who volunteered with remarkable dedication to provide healthcare services and first aid to hundreds of mourners. Their efforts reflected the values of generosity, solidarity, and humanity inspired by the legacy of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). This initiative is part of the annual community service programs and activities implemented by the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University, reaffirming its commitment to serving society and promoting the values of volunteerism and social responsibility, particularly during religious and national occasions.
