The Council of the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University held its eleventh meeting under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College, and in the presence of the Assistant Deans, Heads of Scientific Departments, and Council Members. The meeting took place at the Dean’s Office to discuss several important academic and scientific issues aimed at enhancing institutional performance and advancing the college’s educational and research mission. During the meeting, the Council reviewed examination-related matters and approved the final results of the academic stages, ensuring the completion of all academic procedures in accordance with the applicable regulations and approved instructions. The Council also discussed the achievement rates of the scientific departments regarding workshops, training courses, scientific activities, and case studies, as well as the follow-up of directives issued during previous meetings. These efforts are intended to further improve the quality of academic and scientific performance within the college. On the research front, the Council emphasized the importance of activating and expanding the role of the Research Unit, with a particular focus on incorporating Artificial Intelligence topics into the scientific programs and activities organized by the college, in line with recent developments in medical and educational fields. Council members also discussed the possibility of establishing a specialized scientific journal for the college and organizing a scientific conference or forum to enhance research output and strengthen academic collaboration. They further stressed the importance of documenting all scientific and academic activities involving faculty members and researchers. The meeting concluded with discussions on additional items included in the agenda, followed by the adoption of the necessary decisions and recommendations to support the college’s progress and achieve its academic and scientific objectives.
