ALmustaqbal University has achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by securing the first position among private universities and colleges in Iraq in the URAP global ranking (University Ranking by Academic Performance) for the year 2026, thus maintaining its leading position for the third consecutive year after topping the 2024 and 2025 editions. The ranking results also showed remarkable progress for the university at the national level, as it came in third place among Iraqi governmental and private universities, an indicator that reflects the quality of academic and research performance adopted by the university in accordance with its strategic plans aimed at enhancing scientific excellence. Globally, Future University recorded a significant qualitative leap by advancing 294 ranks compared to last year, which reflects the continuous development in the scientific and research output of its teaching staff and researchers. URAP ranking is considered one of the reputable global rankings that rely on academic performance indicators and scientific research, based on documented data in global databases, including the number of published research, the volume of scientific citations, and international research cooperation. This achievement confirms Future University's advanced position among higher education institutions and embodies its continuous efforts to support scientific research and enhance its presence in international academic forums, thus contributing to raising Iraq's name and representing it honorably at the global level.
