Al-Mustaqbal University Enhances Digital Transformation by Launching the “AI Literacy Program”

Under the direct patronage and supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, and with continuous follow-up from the Academic Supervision Director, Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, the Continuing Education Center at the university, headed by Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Nedawi, announced the launch of the “AI Literacy Program”, which aims to develop the skills of academic and administrative staff and enhance their abilities in utilizing modern artificial intelligence technologies. The program’s first launch witnessed remarkable attendance from the university’s academic staff and students, including a group of lecturers and students from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, in addition to the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, along with several university members. The event reflected a strong interest in the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements and their role in supporting the educational and administrative processes. The program is conducted by a group of professors and specialized lecturers in the field of artificial intelligence and includes a comprehensive training package designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to deal with modern technologies. It targets academic staff, employees, and students through six progressive training levels, beginning with the AI Awareness Course (A1), followed by the AI Basic User Course (A2), the AI Intermediate User Course (B1), the AI Advanced User Course (B2), the AI Professional User Course (C1), and concluding with the AI Expert User Course (C2). The program aims to achieve several important outcomes by introducing participants to the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, its types, and its modern trends, including analytical, predictive, and generative AI. It also seeks to enhance participants’ abilities to use AI tools and apply them in academic and administrative fields, contributing to improved performance efficiency and work quality. The university administration emphasized that launching this program comes as part of its vision to keep pace with rapid technological developments and its commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its academic staff, employees, and students. This initiative supports the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the university environment through a modern approach aligned with global standards.
