Al-Mustaqbal University Launches “AI Literacy Program” to Enhance the Skills of Its Academic and Administrative Staff

Al-Mustaqbal University launched the “AI Literacy Program” on Saturday, June 21, 2026, through its Continuing Education Center, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, with the aim of developing the skills of faculty members, employees, and students and enabling them to keep pace with digital transformation and modern artificial intelligence applications. The program is being implemented under the supervision and follow-up of Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Supervision, and organized by the Continuing Education Center headed by Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Nadawi, as part of the university’s strategy to promote AI literacy and enhance the capabilities of its academic and administrative workforce in line with contemporary technological developments. The first session of the program witnessed broad participation from university faculty members and staff, alongside a number of lecturers and specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. The program included scientific and practical modules designed to build a solid knowledge base for participants regarding the fundamental concepts of AI and its diverse applications. The program targets faculty members, employees, and students and consists of six progressive training levels based on the approved AI Literacy Framework, beginning with the AI Awareness Course (A1), followed by the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced User levels, and culminating in the Professional User (C1) and Expert User (C2) levels. Al-Mustaqbal University continues to adopt distinguished initiatives and specialized training programs that support digital transformation and keep pace with global developments, reinforcing its academic leadership and commitment to preparing qualified professionals capable of shaping the future of technology and innovation.
