As part of the 2025–2026 graduation projects, students of the Building and Construction Engineering Technologies Department at the College of Engineering Technology, Al-Mustaqbal University, successfully completed an engineering project entitled:
"Spherical Tank Design"
The project was supervised by Dr. Bariq and focused on the design of a spherical storage tank intended for storing liquids or gases under pressure, following modern engineering standards and design specifications commonly adopted in industrial and petroleum facilities.
The project included structural analyses to determine the loads and stresses acting on the tank, as well as the design of supporting structural elements and the selection of suitable construction materials to ensure safety, efficiency, and operational reliability. Specialized engineering software was utilized to develop and optimize the final design model.
This project reflects the students' strong technical capabilities and their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering challenges, producing designs that meet contemporary industrial requirements and professional standards
