Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering is preparing to hold the graduation project defenses for final-year students on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Biomedical Engineering Department laboratories. The event will feature a range of distinguished scientific projects completed by the department’s students in various modern biomedical engineering fields, including biomedical devices, medical signal processing systems, artificial intelligence in medical applications, bioinformatics and medical data analysis, tissue engineering, and 3D bioprinting, in addition to projects related to rehabilitation, therapy, biosafety, and environmental health. The discussions will also witness the participation of a distinguished group of academics and experts from universities in Malaysia and Turkey as members of joint international evaluation committees. This initiative reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening international academic cooperation and enhancing the quality of graduation projects and engineering education outcomes.
