Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Its International Partnerships Through the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Research Collaboration with the University of Nottingham

As part of its continuous efforts to enhance international academic cooperation and expand its horizons in scientific research and smart innovation, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Dhalimi, and the Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, Professor Dr. Qusai Al-Ahmadi, paid an official visit to the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. The visit included extensive and productive meetings with several senior officials and academic leaders at the University of Nottingham and its School of Pharmacy. Discussions focused on activating the strategic partnership between the two institutions and developing twinning programs, dual-degree opportunities, and joint research projects. This partnership is of exceptional significance given the prestigious standing of both institutions. The School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham is ranked first in the United Kingdom and eighth globally. It also maintains a close strategic partnership with Boots, the internationally renowned pharmaceutical retail and healthcare company, providing its graduates with extensive employment opportunities in leading global organizations and industries. Meanwhile, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustaqbal University stands among the leading pharmacy schools in the region, having achieved a significant milestone through obtaining American accreditation for pharmacy education, reflecting the alignment of its curricula, academic standards, and infrastructure with the highest international benchmarks. As a culmination of these meetings, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between Al-Mustaqbal University and the School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. The agreement establishes a solid framework for academic and research collaboration, promotes the exchange of expertise among faculty members and researchers, and opens new opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology. #AlMustaqbal_University #University_of_Nottingham
