Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Its International Presence Through a Memorandum of Understanding and Research Collaboration with the University of Nottingham

In a significant step toward expanding international academic cooperation and reinforcing its position among leading global educational institutions, Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and research collaboration agreement with the prestigious University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. The agreement was concluded during an official visit led by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Dhalimi, and the Cultural Advisor in the United Kingdom, Professor Dr. Qusai Al-Ahmadi. The visit included a series of productive meetings and discussions with senior officials and academic leaders at the University of Nottingham and its School of Pharmacy. The discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two institutions and exploring opportunities for collaboration in scientific research, academic twinning programs, dual-degree initiatives, and joint research projects that promote innovation and the exchange of expertise. This partnership carries particular significance given the distinguished status of both institutions. The School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham is recognized as one of the leading pharmacy schools globally, ranking first in the United Kingdom and eighth worldwide. It also maintains strong strategic ties with Boots, a globally renowned pharmaceutical and healthcare company, providing its graduates with outstanding training and employment opportunities within major international organizations. Meanwhile, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustaqbal University continues to achieve remarkable milestones, most notably obtaining American accreditation for pharmacy education, reflecting its commitment to the highest international standards of academic quality and excellence. The visit culminated in the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Nottingham School of Pharmacy. The agreement aims to enhance academic and research collaboration, facilitate the exchange of expertise among faculty members and researchers, and create new opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students in pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology.
