On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the Department of Dialysis Kidney Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Techniques, University Al-Mustaqbal, organized an awareness activity titled “No to Violence Against Women: Towards a Safe University Environment.” The session was delivered by Ms. Anssam Fadhil Mahmoud and Ms. Tabarak Ahmed Turki and Ayat Mohammed , with the participation of a number of students. The activity highlighted the importance of promoting a culture of mutual respect and rejecting all forms of violence and discrimination against women. It also emphasized the role of educational institutions in strengthening values of justice and equality, as well as raising community awareness of women’s rights, contributing to the creation of a safe and supportive university environment for all. Furthermore, the event included interactive discussions that stressed the importance of empowering women and enhancing their active participation in various scientific and social fields, in addition to spreading awareness of laws and regulations that ensure their protection and safeguard their rights. This activity aligns with the University of Al-Mustaqbal’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5: Gender Equality, through implementing awareness programs and activities that promote a culture of equality and respect, and contribute to building a more conscious and sustainable academic community.
