The College of Health and Medical Technologies Honors “Sustainability Ambassadors” in Recognition of Their Excellence and Community Contributions

The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, honored, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, a group of “Sustainability Ambassadors” students on Sunday, May 24, 2026, by presenting them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their outstanding efforts and active contributions to scientific, humanitarian, and volunteer activities within and outside the college. This recognition comes in appreciation of the students’ significant role in supporting community events and initiatives, as well as their active participation in extracurricular activities, particularly their notable contributions to the Fourth International Future Week, in addition to their efforts in promoting a culture of sustainability and raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals among students and the wider community. The Deanate of the College affirmed that the “Sustainability Ambassadors” students represent a model of conscious and responsible university students, reflecting a spirit of initiative and teamwork. It also emphasized that supporting such young talents contributes to preparing a generation capable of leading positive change and actively participating in achieving sustainable development. The Deanate further encouraged all students to continue excelling and to engage in scientific, voluntary, and humanitarian activities, highlighting their important role in developing personal and academic skills and enhancing students’ community presence. It also stressed that this recognition serves as a motivation to continue creativity and dedication, and to reinforce the values of responsibility and volunteer work in line with the college’s academic and humanitarian mission.
