Artificial Intelligence Department Organizes a Scientific Workshop Entitled “Women and the Labor Market: Skills for Success and Professional Development”

The Department of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “Women and the Labor Market: Skills for Success and Professional Development” on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. The workshop was presented by Lecturer Aya Mohammed Ali and held in the Humanities Building with the participation of students from the department. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of empowering women in the labor market and enhancing the personal and professional skills that contribute to career success and development. It also addressed the major challenges women may face in different work environments and the ways to overcome them. The workshop covered several important topics, including effective communication skills, self-confidence building, career planning, time management, and strategies for developing competencies in line with the evolving demands of the modern labor market. The presenter emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and practical experience, as well as the vital role of women in contributing to economic and social development, thereby enhancing their opportunities for professional excellence and success. The workshop witnessed active engagement from students through discussions and questions regarding future career opportunities and the skills required to succeed in various professional fields. This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 5: Gender Equality and Empowerment of All Women and Girls, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by supporting women’s participation in the workforce and strengthening their professional capabilities.
