An awareness campaign on the dangers of smoking was organized by the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Techniques Department on Sunday, 31/05/2026, within the university campus, with the aim of spreading health awareness among students and promoting positive behaviors that support public health. The campaign included the distribution of informational brochures highlighting the health, academic, and social risks associated with smoking, along with guidance encouraging healthy lifestyles and avoidance of harmful habits. This initiative was launched as part of the department’s efforts to support a healthy university environment and raise awareness of the negative effects of smoking on individuals and society. The campaign aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. It also reflects the commitment of Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, to enhancing health awareness and social responsibility among its students.
