The Head of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamouri, chaired a PhD dissertation committee at the College of Science, University of Mosul, for the dissertation entitled “The Use of Conjugated Polymers in the Production of Photovoltaic Devices,” presented by the student Saba Hazim Siddiq Hassan Al-Abbasi. The dissertation focused on developing organic solar cells through the preparation of conjugated polymers with different properties to enhance their efficiency in light harvesting and electrical energy production. The discussion was attended by several academic staff members and university officials. The Dean of the College of Science also presented a letter of appreciation to Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamouri in recognition of his scientific efforts and valuable contribution to the dissertation committee.
